Performance Management Framework

The Performance Management Framework focuses on the priorities within Northumberland.  It seeks to provide a robust and joined up mechanism that supports the partnership in delivering the Sustainable Community Strategy.

It is constructed from the National Indicator Set.  These indicators are the only measures on which Government will performance manage outcomes delivered by local government working along or in partnership.  More information on this single set of 198 indicators is on the Department of Communities and Local Government website.

Each of these indicators, together with complementary local equivalents that focus on issues of relevance to Northumberland, have been assigned to the NSP Thematic Partnerships.  These remits are available here .
